Training is going well for the most part. I complete all of my runs - though sometimes I find that I have to squeeze in the last three on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I continue to feel stronger and more confident in my running abilities. I have been focusing on finishing all of my runs with a fast half mile which I hope will translate into a burst of energy when the finish line is in sight.
I have also been focusing on injury free training and it is working out amazingly well. Instead of going into a run thinking "okay - 8 miles - get out there and get 'er done" I think "8 miles - focus on form and pay attention to any discomfort." If I feel something isn't right I focus on it and either change my pace or my gait and it seems to correct the problem.
Well, this week starts my double digit long runs. How exciting:)
